Go back Our Fribourg & Treyer High Dry Toast Review

You are absolutely correct; I've since tried it again, and it's amazing. The only other toast I've tried is Wilson's #20, and they're very different types of snuff- Wilson's is easier to sniff, but the buttery flavor of the F & T is very distinctive next to the various flavors and SP's I've been using. It's light and melts in your nose, leaving a sweet, almost smokey natural tobacco taste. Aside from sometimes accidentally blowing the snuff away, no more problems with this snuff.

Come back to it in a month, sniff GENTLY and slowly. If it hits the back of your throat you're doing it wrong. Re-visiting this after some more snuffing practice will give you a new appreciation for it. One of the more highly regarded snuffs of this style on the market today for a reason.

When they say not for beginners, they might mean me - though this is a good unflavored snuff, the very fine grind is not for me yet. I'm reserving judgment until I can handle it, but didn't have any great negative reaction to the flavor.

Very fine grind gives this a potent effect...not for beginners! Smells nutty similar to the smell of Drum rolling tobacco. Quite nice and potent.

This is a fine dry snuff that is easy to take and a must for any nasal snuff aficionado. This snuff is slightly smokey in character ; not to be confused with American scotches. It has nutty overtones and a buttery finish. I hereby grant this snuff five snuffboxes out of five.
