Go back Our Granit, Loose ReviewMade in Malmö, Sweden by Fielder & Lundgren, Granit loose is classified as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarser ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand shape it. The first prilla we tested was made with a 3 ml tool and kept its shape for over 2 hours while the hand shaped prilla lasted a little less than 2 hours before it began to fall apart but the flavor could have lasted much longer! Each can of Granit loose contains 45 grams of snus with a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic that feels thicker than other plastic cans and gives the can a bit more sturdiness. The Granit logo is also stamped in the glossy plastic lid but, you’re here for the flavor, not the can so, let’s take a look at Granit loose’s flavor. Fielder & Lundgren describes Granit’s flavor as being of pure tobacco. While we agree that the tobacco is the predominant flavor, we taste a few other subtle elements that give Granit is unique flavor. The tobacco actually has a light black pepper taste while having a subtle sweetness in the background. This sweetness shows up as a sweet, herbal flavor, albeit a very light one. The salt in Granit also helps to bring out both the herbal sweetness and the earthy tobacco flavor while adding the traditional Swedish snus taste. While this is what we taste in Granit loose snus, we would like to know what you think! Outstanding snus regardless of the price. It's just a bonus that it's inexpensive
 Has a slight lemon smell/taste similar to Gotlands yellow. It lacks the bitterness that the Gotlands has. Don't get me wrong I really like the Gotlands yellow.

this is my first los snus i ever tryed its great really great flavour it holds together very good too i formed it with my fingers lol i give it a 10 i will buy this again

Yes this is a very accurate General knock off. The main difference is that this does have a few notes of bitterness towards the middle of the pris, and it has a little bit of harshness on the throat , which I do actualy like sometimes. SO if you want a super smooth snus experience then pay the extra buck and get a can of general.

Poor Mans General Snus? Or could it be Smart Mans General Snus? Either way, it's a General Clone at a smart price. If you like General you can't go wrong with this one price or not.

For the price, you simply cannot beat Granit in los or portion. I recommend it to all Gerneral snussers, since it has a similar lemon trace to the tobacco flavor, and the price is right. In my top 5 snus list.

The best "bargain" snus on the market. A great alternative to General.
