Go back Our Knox, Loose ReviewReleased in 2006 and made by Skruf AB, Knox loose is a “Value Priced” snus but, you wouldn’t know it from the high quality flavor it has! Knox portion is classified as a classified as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarse ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand shape it. The prilla made with a 3 ml tool kept its shape for about 2 hours before it began to fall apart and the one we made by hand lasted about 1 ½ hours before it broke up but flavor felt like it could last much longer! Each can of Knox loose contains 45 grams of snus and a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic, both bottom and top, and makes a great seal that doesn’t accidently pop open when in your pocket but enough about the can, let’s talk flavors! Like we said in the beginning, Knox loose is a “Value Priced” snus but the flavor is up there with the higher priced ones! Knox’s flavor is described as having a robust tobacco taste but, we taste other flavors in it as well. We do taste the flavor of quality tobaccos in the forefront but, the subtle flavor of fresh herbs and citrus give the snus the taste and scent of black tea with a light flowery flavor that is really unique. The flowery taste is actually the same as the scent which we think is similar to Lavender. Overall, Knox loose would make the perfect snus for the beginner that wants to experience what real Swedish snus tastes like without breaking the bank. the plastic can is not so good for loose snus. It dry out faster then normal cans used by example ettan.

I'm supprised to see this located as a top seller. I don't taste lemon in this. In fact, the taste reminds me of american dip more than snus. If you like dip better than snus you might give this a try, plus the price is right.

this snus is great it holds together and lasts almost 2 hours has a great smooth flavor

I'm not sure what it is but I really like it. Switched from Copenhagen and love the consistency. Sure General has an alright flavor but it doesn't do it for me. I'd rather have Knox!

For the price, you can't do much better. Very similar to Skruf. Holds together well. This is good stuff.

Ignore the trash talkers and nay Sayers if you love skryf loose then get a can of knox in your next order . It's doesn't cost anything if you don't like it throw it out but I love this one!!!! Same makers as skryf you can't go wrong!

Maybe I had a bad can, but this is nothing like SKRUF, General, or ETTAN. It was just plain awful. If you want a decent budget snus, choose the GRANIT for a few krona more per can. It, unlike knox, is quite palatable, and in my top 5 snuses - regardless of cost.

Well, the snus is pretty consistent, but I think that isn't the greatest one to choose. I find the taste of General and Ettan snus much better. On the other hand, if you're short of money, you can buy some tins and try them out.

I got his snus as a free tin and thought it was pretty good. Strong citrus flavour. The coarseness however cut my gums. Cheap Snus??? I guess you get what you pay for.

Similar to Skruf's flavor but stronger/sweeter taste and less niccotine. Holds together well and stays fresh nicely in the plastic can.

It's cheap. It taste sort of like general but is a coarser grind. Like general loose? Like Skruf loose? Like to save money? Then give knox a try. If I remember it's made by the people who make Skruf. Think skruf seconds
