Go back Our Phantom Blue, Loose ReviewPhantom Classic Blue loose snus is another uniquely flavored snus by V2 Tobacco and made in Silkeborg, Denmark and manufactured under the same strict standards that snus made in Sweden does. Phantom Blue loose is classed as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarser ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand shape it. The first prilla we tested was made with a 3 ml tool and kept its shape for over 2 hours while the hand shaped prilla lasted a little less than 2 hours before it began to fall apart but the flavor could have lasted much longer! Each can of Phantom Classic Blue loose contains 45 grams of snus with a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic with the Phantom logo embossed in the glossy plastic lid but, you’re here for the flavor, not the can so, let’s take a look at Classic Blue’s flavor! Phantom Classic Blue’s flavor is one of the most unique flavors we’ve come across! While the scent from the can is of lemon, it’s not as intense as its portion sibling. The flavor is of slightly sweet lemon with a background of fine tobacco and a bit of salt. The flavor Americans can closely compare Phantom Classic Blue’s lemon flavor to is a lemon drop or Lemonhead’s candy. The light lemon flavor combined with the tobacco taste makes Phantom Classic Blue loose a great snus for the beginner who wants an easy to mold loose with a mild flavor. So, why not add a can or two of Phantom Classic Blue loose snus with your next order and judge for yourself! We’d love to hear what you think so, be sure to leave a review of your experience! We’ll be looking forward to reading it!

When I first opened this can, I was a bit apprehensive about the smell. I seriously wondered weather someone had somehow contaminated my can with windex, but judgeing by other comments, that's how it is supposed to smell. The taste wasn't as bad as the smell, but not something I'll order again. Possibly my least favorite snus.

I have seen bad reviews of this one, especially comments about the windex smell. It does indeed have a slight window cleaner aroma, I guess from the Juniper berries, but it has a wonderful taste, and the pris holds together well. This is now one of my regular los when kicking back in front of the tv.

When I first started snusing, I loved Phantom Blue (or Rothbrix now). But I got tired of the crappy texture of the portions and make up. So I then treid the los version. It isn't much better. The smell is of Win-dex, the taste is better, but not by much. Wasn't too bad to form into a pris, but that is about it.

This is becoming a cult favorite for a lot of people, but I have yet to be totally converted. It's all right. I like the grind. It's a little less fruity than R.L. so if you're looking for a happy medium between your old school Ettan and that, give it a whirl.
