A tried and true classic. This IS the definition of snus, it does not get anymore authentic than this. It is not the stickiest snus (a little crumbly when making a prilla) but with a icetool or prismaster it holds together just fine. The taste is of tobacco and mild cocoa. Great for an every day snus I would to try this one at least once. Blows ANY american style chew (cope/skoal) out of the water.

This is an excellent mild snus. Pure tobacco and no bergamot or citrus. The flavour is so smooth it is almost like cocoa. Light on salt, it has a smooth finish without any bitterness. Easy on the lip, but it can wander through the teeth if it breaks free. The nic hit is light but steady. Overall, a fine daily snus for any hour of the day.

I prefer tobacco flavored tobacco. Ettan hits the spot in this regard, no fruity or minty flavorings just good Swedish tobacco. Its one of my favorites.

Although I found it a little 'crumblier' than the Skruf Los I'm used to (and seemed to get more 'snus juice' when baking a pris), everything else about Ettan Los is perfect. That same great traditional tobacco taste we all know and love from Ettan portions, but with a longer lasting flavour and a bit more of a nicotine wallop. Other than the fact hand-baking can get a little messy (I'd recommend a PrisMaster or IceTool!), it's as good a loose snus as you'll find.

it is the best snus. i had taken this the last 25 years and never find some better snus. i had try very much different kind of snus and still ettan loose is the best one its always no1

It does have the most subtle chocolate notes to it. This would be a fine everyday snus.

I purchased Ettan Portion with my recent order of 6 cans, and when it got here, I had Ettan Los instead! There was no anger, just a feeling of sweet pleasure knowing that I was given the opportunity to try a snus 189 years in the making

Before trying the loose version of this, I tried the portions and was quite pleased, but I personally find the loose version to have even more flavor to it. Extremely easy to roll into a pris by hand; in fact I simply pull out a nice amount and smash it into a ball using nothing but my fingers and the pris ends up holding shape for around 1.5 to 2 hours if I don't play with it with my tongue as I sometimes do to get more flavor out of this snus. Excellent quality tobacco, would completely recommend this to anyone who truly enjoys the flavor of tobacco!
