Go back Our Granit, Mini Portion ReviewLaunched in 2008 by Fiedler & Lundgren in Mälmo, Sweden, Granit Mini is a smaller version of Granit portion and is classified as a Mini type portion. Mini type meaning, that each one goes thru a final step in the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to them. This added moisture helps the flavors to marry together and release its flavor faster when it’s in the lip. The material that Fiedler & Lundgren uses is the same portion material they use in Granit regular type that they use in all its portion snus and is comfortable in the lip for about an hour. Each can of Granit Mini has 20 portions that have about .5 grams of snus and 4 mg of Nicotine each. The can that Granit Mini comes in is a black molded plastic with rounded edges giving the can a sleek, modern look and yes, there is a used portion compartment in the lid. The plasticized label also makes a great seal until you’re ready to open and use it but, enough about the can and label, let’s look at the flavor! Fiedler & Lundgren designed Granit Mini to have the same, traditional Swedish snus flavor that Granit Original portion has, just in a smaller version and we think they nailed it! Traditional Swedish snus flavor is basically Tobacco, salt and a citrus element and in Granit Mini, we taste the flavor of a mild mix of tobacco, which has a leathery, herbal taste, the salt which, not only adds flavor but helps to release the Nicotine, and the slight hint of bergamot, which tastes like a cross between a lemon and a grapefruit, that gives Granit Mini a small bit of sweetness in the background. We think Granit Mini portion snus would be great for the beginner wanting a smaller sized portion with a big portion flavor but, this is what we think, we want to know your thoughts! Great for the price, wish it was available with eucalyptus or mint flavor though.

My first vote on the site, and I accidentally leave one star for a 4/5 star snus.
