Ladies! If you're thinking about trying Snus I HIGHLY recommend starting with this one!! It's minty but not overwhelming... It's almost like a nicotine tic tac not at all like toothpaste. Some of the other brands of mint have a very strange and questionable "mint" taste. General Mint is mild, smooth, and awesome. This has become by far one of my favorites because it doesn't drip or taste bitter. My only complaint is that it isn't strong enough but I used to smoke more than a pack a day of newport 100's. BUT no more! I don't smell like smoke, my lungs are getting better...I LOVE General Mint. <3

Just cracked my second can of this stuff. Feels like a good "americanized" snus. Not too salty, not too minty. I like it first thing in the morning when other snuses can feel a bit too strong or bitter. Another bonus is that it leaves my breath smelling nice. Not an all day snus for me because 1)It tends to get too sweet sometimes, 2)The nic hit is not quite enough for me, and 3) the pouches sometimes break open on me. I I not a huges fan of the white portions because I like a bit more juice, they break open sometimes,and they don't kick in as fast. I really wish General would consider making a strong non-white version of the mint and witergreen lines.

It is a good flavored sweet mint snus. My girlfriend says it is the closest thing she has ever tried to camel frost, which is her favorite snuss. Im not much of a snus guy but i will steel a pouch occasionally for the flavor. good stuff

Really good mint you can use all day. It doesn't drip too much and the flavor lasts a good while.
Try Thunder Frosted if you're after a bigger nic hit but try this for an enjoyable snus.

It's awesome! General is the best. It's selling kind of slow around here in Indiana, USA, I just hope it keeps selling. The nic hit is just right for me and has been instrumental in helping me to quit smoking. The mint is subtle, without overpowering the tobacco.

 Being a new snus user to quit my smoking habit, this is my go to snus. I like the dry with very little drip. I'll use a stronger regular snus as a desert snus, but I find the need to spit with regular rather than white portions. Tried the thunder frosted extra sterk, but their portions are not consistent in size/amount per portion. No problem with that issue with General. If you don't like mint flavor, go with a non flavored snus, but they taste too much like a tea for my liking. Good luck giving up the cigs, swedish snus is definitely the way to go. I'm down to 5 cigs a day from 30 thanks to true swedish snus. Now if we could only remedy the shipping costs, it would be perfect. PS. Customer service with Northerner.com is very good.

 To me, it's a sickeningly-sweet mint candy. I like General white and the Onyx is my main squeeze. Glad I only got it as part of a sampler. No offense to those that like it, and variety is good.

I going to stop trying different snuses because, after using this one, others that I was happy with will no longer do for me. I just gave 10 boxes of one type away because I would never use them. I still have a few boxes of various types in the freezer as stand-byes but they are unlikely to get used. I get 4 hours out of these and I'd get much longer if it weren't for the fact that I look forward the fresh sting of a new one. The taste would continue much longer than 4 hours without getting stale.

i started using General Mint in November 2010 after trying 4 others. It's my "all-day" snus. The mint flavor is just right, not just a hint, nor too strong. So many brands are way too salty for me, but not the General. The white portion's bag doesn't take too long to moisten and has never broken (well, I have fallen asleep and woke up chewing it up!). As an ex-smoker (thanks to snus), I don't get the whole nic hit thing. I CAN say, however, I smoked pack a day of full-flavored marlboro for 27 years. General Mint is strong enough that I have had NO desire to smoke... and no bad aftertaste! Bravo General!

The flavor is perfect and last's about 45 mins. The "nic hit" not so great. Very mild compared to the new Jakobssons mint which is INCREDIBLE! If you don't like a strong hit these are for you. if you want a stronger hit go with the Jakobssons mint. I also prefer the moister Snus. Although sometime they can a little to moist causing a nauseating effect.

It has a nice nic hit and I've had one in for over 2 hours without the flavor turning nasty or dying out. I also have found that this is a "clean" snus. Some of the others I've tried cause some irritation at the back of my throat when chain-snussing, but General White Mint can go all day with no irritation. Also, because it's a white portion, it doesn't get too juicy. This is my daily-carry snus and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Love it, last about an hour for me with a decent nic kick for a heavy smoker. Recently quit smoking of 15 years with General White Mint & Wintergreen.

This snus starts by burning your lip. It was the first snus I let my girlfriend try and she couldn't handle the burn that is present for the first 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes this snus really shines. It isn't overly sweet but provides a wonderful mint taste and the flavor lasts well over and hour. Great snus. My standard "Mint" Snus final thoughts: The can it comes in isn't too appealing. I put my mint snus in a catch Tin I had laying around from a previous order (yes It's silly to care about these things, but I do.)

 I was kinda sad to see though that In the US, You carry only the new PACT Cans, I was kinda hoping for the Swedish printed version, but it's all good

Absolutely love it. This was the very first Snus I tried and man, it is great. It gives me a nice Nic kick with a nice and mild minty taste. This is definitely a product I will have in my cart each time I place an order.
