Our Northerner Licorice / Lemon (3mg) Review

Launched in 2007 by Snus Bruket / TillCe AB, Oomph Licorice/Lemon 3mg Mini portion snus is classified as a Dry White Mini type. This means that the snus has little to no moisture in it, which makes the snus its self a powder. The White part means, again, no moisture is added to the material at the end of production and Mini means that the portions themselves are about half the size of a regular sized portion. Even though the material is dry, TillCe uses a soft, teabag type material for their portions which, once you wet it a bit, is surprisingly comfortable in the lip for as long as the flavor lasts which is about an hour and a half. Each can of Oomph Licorice/Lemon 3mg has 24 portions that are about .3 grams each. The Nicotine content in them is 3 mg of Purified Nicotine per portion. Oomph Licorice/Lemon’s can is made of white plastic and is oval shaped and a not as tall as a normal snus can. The other unique thing about the can is that there are two flip top lids, one for the fresh portions and one for used portions but, enough about the can, let’s talk flavors! Oomph Licorice/Lemon’s flavor is identical to its stronger, 6 mg sibling and is really unique in the fact that it’s not really strong. You can taste the subtle flavors of Licorice and Lemons but, the flavors are not overpowering like in a regular portion. What can also be tasted is the salt but what’s missing is the tobacco flavor. There is also a slight baking soda taste but, that’s because there’s baking soda in Oomph Licorice/Lemon. It’s there to help keep your teeth white while using it and, it really does whiten them a bit! We feel that Oomph Licorice/Lemon makes a great snus for the user that wants a light flavor of licorice and lemon without the typical tobacco flavor that’s in all Swedish snus.
