Extra Strong type means that there is over 14 mg of Nicotine in each gram and regular type means that each one goes thru an added step at the end of the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to them. This extra moisture helps the flavors in the snus to marry together and release it faster when it’s in your lip. The material that V2 uses in Thunder Extra Stark Original is the same soft material they use in all their Extra Stark portion snus and is comfortable in the lip for as long as the flavor lasts which is for over 2 hours. Each can contains 24, one gram portions with each one having a mind blowing 16 mg of Nicotine! The can is made of black plastic, both bottom and top, and makes a great seal that doesn’t accidently pop open when in your pocket but you came here to read about the taste not the can so, let’s talk flavors! Thunder Extra Stark Original’s flavor is another unique V2 flavor but not for the reason you may think. As you may know from reading other V2 reviews, V2 is known for its unique and powerfully flavored snus and Thunder Extra Stark Original is pretty unique in the fact that it’s not very powerfully flavored! What we taste is mild tobaccos from all corners of the globe mixed with a bit of salt and a hint of smoke flavor. These flavors combine to give Thunder Extra Stark Original a mild earthy tobacco flavor with a slight burn in the lip that’s common with high Nicotine snus. We think that Thunder Extra Stark Original is great for the user that wants to experience the higher Nicotine kick with a mild tobacco flavor but, this is what we think, we want to know your thoughts! Surprise, surprise! I have tried Thunder products before, and they were acceptable (though I do like the berry). This time I looked CAREFULLY for an plain tobacco flavor. Found it, bought it, LOVE IT! It really has an honest, flavor. Now waiting for the 21mg. RAW in the same flavor. That would make Thunder my "go to" brand!

Great. Makes me hiccup - wich is a good sign (O; Good straight taste of tobacco. Maybe this will be my everyday snuss in the future. It has it all and is cheap too. What more can u possibly want.

I love this snus. Ironically, I got the mini portion as a sample from Northerner, and liked it so much I ordered the regular portions. I love the flavor. I taste a very nicely balanced citrus flavor which I love to death. That along with the good quality tobacco flavor and the vitamin-n hit make this one a win. I will continue to order this one for the rotation!

This one give you a Nice nic shock, but a very mild tobacco flavor with a hint of citrus. I give this 5 of 6 points.

Great nic hit. Strong which i really like. Ive said it before, very salty just like all thunder snus. Almost taste a citrus flavor. Tobacco flavor is not over-powering. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

My new favorite snus. Never lets me down. Great flavor, strong nic hit, this one always keeps me satisfied. I used snus to quit smoking two years ago, then started again -- Thunder is the one snus that has made re-quitting a total breeze. Perfect for smokers looking to switch from full-flavor cigs like Marlboro, this delivers the same rich tobacco flavor (actually, much much better) and nicotine wallop with none of the downsides. A regular order for me now. Love it!!!

By far my favorite snus. Great tobacco flavor with an excellent nic hit. Flavor comes on nice and even. Hardly any drip if any. Overall great snus.
