Go back Our Mocca Licorice, White Mini Portion ReviewReleased in 2004 and made by Fiedler & Lundgren, Mocca Anis Mini White is classified as a Mini White type portion snus. Mini type means that the portions are about half the size of a regular portion and white type, as you may remember, means that portions do not go thru the final step in the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to them. While this leaves the material white in color, it can leave it dry as well but Fiedler & Lundgren uses a soft, teabag type material that is comfortable under the lip for just as long as the flavor lasts which is about an hour and a half. Each can of Mocca Anis Mini White has 24 portions that have approximately .3 grams each with Nicotine content of 5 mg per portion. Mocca Anis Mini White’s can is pretty unique in the fact that it’s made of metal, both top and bottom and painted gloss dark gray to match the flavor! It’s also a bit smaller than the standard snus can and the top and bottom snaps closed and stays closed. I know, enough about the can! Let’s talk flavor. Mocca Anis White Mini’s flavor has a mild tobacco character with aniseed and licorice flavor that we liken to a mild Black Licorice candy flavor. The Licorice flavor really helps to enhance the earthiness of the mixed tobaccos from around the world that Fiedler & Lundgren uses for Mocca Anis Mini. The tobacco taste begins to come out after about 45 minutes and gives a bit of depth to the licorice flavor. We feel that Mocca Anis Mini makes a great snus for those who want to experience a licorice flavored snus in a lower Nicotine, more discreet version but, this is what we taste, we want to hear what you think of Mocca Anis Mini portion snus as well! The first snus I tried, used it on airplanes but still smoked (American Spirits) when on the ground. Pretty sweet, like other Mocca flavors. Doesn't taste like strong licorice, a little more subtle than that. Flavor lasts for a while and pouch is pretty small, so very discreet. Good snus for snusing in public.
