I don't know about the grass taste...but certainly very "woodsy" in nature. It reminds me a lot of white tea. Very smooth and does not make your breath stink like the overly moist and overly aromatic Jakobsson's.

This stuff is great. It starts out very woody and earthy but the flavor truly shines after the portion moistens the citrus comes through and balances out the earthy tones.
