Go back Our Odens Extra Stark Original, Loose ReviewLaunched in 2009 and made by Gajane, Oden’s Extra Stark Original loose is classified as a coarse grind type which means that the individual pieces of tobacco are a bit larger than the fine grind type which helps the snus to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand bake it. The prilla we tested was made using the hand bake method with it keeping its shape for over an hour before it began to fall apart but, the prilla made with the tool lasted for over 2 hours. The flavor lasted just as long with no signs of stopping as well! Each can of Oden’s Extra Stark Original loose contains 45 grams of snus and a Nicotine content of 17 mg per gram. This doesn’t mean 17 mg per prilla because a prilla can range in size depending on the user. Oden’s Extra Stark Original’s can is the same black plastic that Gajane uses for all of their snus, complete with the Oden’s logo embossed on the lid and plastic and foil label but, enough about the can, on to the taste! Oden’s Extra Stark Original has a flavor that is just as unique as its lower Nicotine version. There are subtle differences between the two though. While they both share the fact that they’re one of the few pure tobacco flavored snus brands that’s flavor is just that, pure tobacco, they both also share the fact that the taste is a great blend of mild tobaccos that have an earthly, herbal taste with a hint of salt the only difference is Oden’s Extra Stark Original’s higher Nicotine content and the mild burn from it. Overall, we think that Oden’s Extra Sterk Original loose is a mild tasting, pure tobacco flavored snus and will be a great addition to the user that wants to try the “Strongest snus in the world”. Extra strong indeed! A tub of this stuff lasts twice as long as a regular strength one, so you're ostensibly getting a two-for-one deal. Taste isn't great though- not bad, but certainly not great. I'd recommend this only if you're a serious nicotine fiend or you're looking for value. Not luxurious at all.

It's one of my favorites but I only use it once a day or sometimes twice
 The first time i ordered it it was about three cans so i had to use it up. But at first i thought it had a strange taste but kept using it. After a couple of cans that "strange" taste starting tasting really good. Now nothing else can match the taste.
It is very strong but I believe skruf es loose is stronger nic. But regardless, it has enough nic for anyone. My only problem is it's getting harder to find.

This is by far the strongest snus around. i'm a 27yr nicotine user. between smokes and othe american tobacco's, and this actually gave me a buz. and a great natural tobacco taste.

This is THE go to snus. Its the snus that wakes me up in the morning and the snus that tucks me in at night before i go to bed. I hae tried many other snuses but this is definitely the one for me.
I don't really taste a lemon flavour, if anything i would say that it is slightly licorice. I was very lucky in that this snus was one of the first oes that i ever tried. Have played around with different brands but this is the one for me.

I just got a can in the mail, and it is some tasty snus. The nic hit wasn't as strong as I expected but the flavor is good: not salty, a little sweet after about a half hour, and the flavor reminds me of ginger root. I dont taste any citrus. Good stuff for a change of pace.

I just tried Oden's and got my ass kicked. This stuff is potent and definitely not for beginners. It has a great taste and I think I found my new brand.

This snus is by far the best I ever took. It outbeats by far the American snus, like Copenhagen for example. It is always moist and fresh, features an unbelievable hit-kick in especially when used with some alcohol. I firmly believe it is less of a risk to your heart and whole system than any cigarette! You don`t have to spit as often as with Copenhagen or any other loose snus! It lasts incredibly long and the taste is lemon-like! It does not diminish the kick of alcohol to your brain as cigarettes do. You will drink less and dip less, if you go for this snus. It just satifies and the Northerner is an absolutely fair and frank company! I can do nothing but recommend this snus to any dipper around the entire globe! Purchase it, quit smoking and your life will last longer!

This has become my new favorite loose snus. I love the flavor and the nic hit is amazing! Lasts a good long while too! I highly recommend it to seasoned snussers but not for beginners. Unique tobacco flavor as well.

Bakes well and has an amazing nicotine kick. It's too bad it tastes like i stuck a lemon wedge in my lip. I just cant take that much citrus.

It has probably the stronger nicotine kick than any other snus known to mankind, perhaps only makla ifrikia and this strange green Belarussian snus sold in little plastic bags can be compared with.
