Mountain Grouse Pendant
Pendant shaped like a Scandinavian mountain grouse - common bird in the wilderness of the north of Scandinavia. Made out of typical natural material from the Polar-Circle-Country of Scandinavia - reindeer horn and curly-grained birch (very rare kind of wood) wood. The necklace is silver-plated.
The Sami handicraft is characterized by soft rounded shapes. The Sami hut, the houshold utensils, knives, all with soft-rounded shapes. This has also influenced the modern design of Sami jewelry.
Our jewelry are manufactured in the Polar circle country in the north where three countries meet, Norway - Sweden - Finland
