Afrodite Glass Collection
The Afrodite Collection is Designed by Berit Johansson.
Berit Johansson has worked since the late 60s. She has had different assignments and employments national as well as international. She has an exiting shape expression and bright and strong colors often distinguish her works. She gets her inspiration from Italy, England, USA and Sweden. In the "Tutti Frutti" Bowl Collection her love for colors comes out. These bowls are inviting for serving fruit, sallad or just as a decoration on your Kitchen table.
This set was the first design she made for Reijmyre. Afrodite is a modern variation of the sets Atmosphere and Amor, that was produced in collaboration with "Älghult" Glassworks.

Reijmyre Glassworks started making mouth blown glass already in 1810, wich makes them the second oldest glassworks that still is running today.
One of their goals is to increase the interest for the Swedish mouth blown glass and keep that proud cultural heritage alive.
Their active and exiting glass smelting-house is filled with creativity and glowing energy. With a long glass tradition, that has become collector items in many Swedish homes, Reijmyre is with their master glass blowers, wealth of ideas and hungry new designers a modern glassworks.
