Boule - Glass Set
The Boule Glass Set is Designed by Filippa Reuterswärd.
If you sum up the designer Filippa Reuterswärd with one word, it would be curious. She has tried various creative professions in the search for her expression. She has worked as an artists assistent, glass designer assistent and has assisted two stage set designers; She has also worked at an industrydesigner office, and a furniture joinery. Filippa Reuterswärd mostly designes: vases, cutlery, candlesticks, furniture and textilepatterns. And she gladly works with glass.
Reijmyre Glassworks started making mouth blown glass already in 1810, wich makes them the second oldest glassworks that still is running today.
One of their goals is to increase the interest for the Swedish mouth blown glass and keep that proud cultural heritage alive.
Their active and exiting glass smelting-house is filled with creativity and glowing energy. With a long glass tradition, that has become collector items in many Swedish homes, Reijmyre is with their master glass blowers, wealth of ideas and hungry new designers a modern glassworks.
