Replica of a Goblet with wave-shaped glass-thread decor, which has been found at excavations in Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway) and Gotland (Sweden). Most likely imported from the Frankish Empire in Central Europe. It´s dated to between AD 450 and 500. The Iron Age: period between the Bronze Age and the Medieval Period when iron was used as tools or weapon; different time periods in different cultures, Central Europe BC 800 - AD 500, in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden and Denmark) BC 500 - AD 1050.
This Goblet is produced by hand with the same techniques they used for 1500 years ago, which means that the size and thickness of the glasses may vary slightly. The color of the glass may also vary as well as the number of small bubbles inside the glass. The glassworks, which make the History Glasses, is one of the best of its kind in the world. It has customers with high reputation such as a number of different Museums.
