Replica of bowl with wave-shaped glass-thread decor, which has been found in many different variants. Most of the glasses have been found on the big Swedish island Gotland (in the Baltic Sea). It was probably manufactured between AD 450 to 500. Its origin was most likely from the Frankish Empire. The island Gotland has a long history as a natural trade center in the Baltic Sea. The Iron Age: period between the Bronze Age and the Medieval Period when iron was used as tools or weapon; different time periods in different cultures, Central Europe BC 800 - AD 500, in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden and Denmark) BC 500 - AD 1050. This glass is produced by hand with the same techniques they used for 1500 years ago, which means that the size and thickness of the glasses may vary slightly. The color of the glass may also vary as well as the number of small bubbles inside the glass. The glassworks, which make the History Glasses, is one of the best of its kind in the world.
