Replica of glass from the 17th century Holland. The original Berkemeyer glass is a further development of the Prunted Goblet (AD 1200) from the Medieval period and a forerunner to the "Rummer", which was started to be manufactured during the 17th century.
This glass is produced by hand with the same techniques they used for 400 years ago, which means that the size and thickness of the glasses may vary slightly. The color of the glass may also vary as well as the number of small bubbles inside the glass. The glassworks, which make the History Glasses, is one of the best of its kind in the world. It has customers with high reputation such as a number of different Museums.
