Scandinavian (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) knives. The Sami´s - people of Lapland in north Scandinavia - traditional knife has got a new look with better design, material and blade. The handle is made out of curly-grained birch (which is very rare) with reindeer horn inlays. Its material is developed by the mountain birch when it is attacked by a kind of tree parasite. The tree try to protect itself by developing a kind of hard wooden material.

The result can be seen like a twisted part of the tree. The Sami - people of Lapland have always believed this was a good sign from the gods, trying to communicate with humans through nature.
The sheath is made of reindeer leather with nice design. Exclusively hand-made.The blade of the knife is 2,96 in. (7.5 cm).
Our knives - with its blades in combination with reindeer horn and curly-grained birch are manufactured in the Polar circle country in the north where three countries meet, Norway - Sweden - Finland.
