Scandinavian (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) knives. An exclusive handmade knife from Lapland in the north of Scandinavia. A real piece of art signed by the master himself, Lennart Samelin. Localy treated hard steel blade of best quality - also called The Vettasjarvi blade. The handle is made out of curly-grained birch (which is very rare) with reindeer horn inlays. Its material is developed by the mountain birch when it is attacked by a kind of tree parasite. The tree try to protect itself by developing a kind of hard wooden material.

The result can be seen like a twisted part of the tree. The Sami - people of Lapland have always believed this was a good sign from the gods, trying to communicate with humans through nature.
The sheath is made of richly decorated reindeer horn and leather with a round-shaped design which make the knife slip away when you sit down. Twisted reindeer leather strap. Exclusively hand-made.The blade of the knife is 3,15 in. (8 cm), blade + handle: 7,48 in. (19 cm).
Our knives - with its blades in combination with reindeer horn and curly-grained birch are manufactured in the Polar circle country in the north where three countries meet, Norway - Sweden - Finland.
