Introduced by Swedish Match in 1991, General Silver portion snus is a large sized portion snus with a lower Nicotine content than most large portions. Classified as a regular type portion General Silver’s portions go thru an added step in the final part of the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to each portion which aids the flavors to meld together while they’re in the can and release its flavor faster in the lip. The portion material that Swedish match uses in General Silver is the same soft material that they use in all their portion snus and is pretty comfortable for up to 2 ½ hours. Each can of General Silver has 24, one gram portions with each having 6 mg of Nicotine. The can is made of black plastic with a gray and black, plastic label.
