As part of Haypp Group—one of the world's largest online retailers of nicotine pouches—Northerner is proud to be spearheading the global movement towards a smoke-free future.
Building on the success of the Haypp Scholarship in both Sweden and the UK, it was a natural next step for us to offer American students the same sort of opportunity.
We recognize that a little financial boost can go a long way when embarking on your academic or professional journey, which is why we want to give a helping hand to adult students and veterans who choose to continue their education or work on post-graduate studies.Head of External Affairs
Our mission with this scholarship is to champion research and innovation within e-commerce that has the potential to transform consumer experiences and advance disruptive ideas for a better tomorrow.
About the Scholarship
Our scholarship is worth $5,000 and will be awarded biannually to students (aged 25 years and older) who submit the best essay on a relevant topic.
It's up to you to define the scope of your essay as it relates to our business, but the following topics may serve as a helpful starting point for your brainstorming:
-
- Shifting consumer trends and behaviors;
- A particular innovation within e-commerce, SEO, digital marketing, or logistics;
- The social and environmental impacts of online retail, etc.
Twice a year, a jury made up of Northerner’s senior management will evaluate each submission based on the quality of the work and its potential to contribute to new knowledge or understanding. Consider how your essay pulls together existing information and contributes a fresh perspective to the discussion if you're looking to stand out!
Two sets of winners will be announced June 1 and December 1. It's worth noting that you're not able to win the scholarship more than once.
