Taxes on Northerner

Northerner is required by law to charge applicable tobacco/nicotine taxes and sales tax on online orders. When taxes apply, they will be calculated and shown in the checkout total. Shipping may also be subject to sales tax in some states.

How tobacco/nicotine tax is calculated?

State Excise Tax (SET), also known as tobacco/nicotine tax, is applied based on state and local laws. The tax amount may depend on the product type, state, and local rules. Depending on the state, SET may be calculated based on:

  • Northerner’s wholesale cost
  • The customer selling price
  • Product weight or selling unit

How sales tax is calculated?

Sales tax is calculated according to applicable state and local rates. In some cases, sales tax may apply to the product price, tobacco/nicotine tax, and shipping.

Example

If a product costs $3.99, and the state applies tobacco/nicotine tax and sales tax, both taxes are added during checkout to calculate the final price.

I really like the Grizzle Southern pouches. They have a great smooth flavor and last a long time. I hope they release a 6MG version. I don't mind 9MG but it can be a little strong for my liking. I just ordered a few cans and they're less expensive on Northern than my local gas station. Love the military discount too, thanks guys it all helps!

Available through Northerner, Grizzly Southern 12mg can be purchased as single cans or in bulk packs of 5, 10, 25, and 50 cans. This flavor also comes in a 9mg strength if you're looking for less milligrams per pouch.

How to Use: Park a Grizzly Southern 12mg pouch between your upper lip and gum. Keep it in place for up to 60 minutes. Dispose of the pouch responsibly after use.

About Grizzly

Grizzly is a proud part of the American Snuff Company, and has been a trusted name in smokeless tobacco since 2001. Now offering tobacco-free nicotine pouches in various flavors and strengths since 2024, Grizzly provides even more alternatives for adult nicotine users to choose from.

How to use your Grizzly Southern 12mg

It only takes a few seconds to get started.
  • Break the seal on your Grizzly Southern 12mg can, squeeze the sides of the lid, and lift it open.
  • Place a pouch between your top lip and gum, leaving it there for 30-60 minutes.
  • Let the pouch sit while the nicotine is absorbed through your gum. If you’re new to nicotine pouches, start with a lower strength and use it for a shorter time.
  • Remove the pouch whenever you’re ready and dispose of it in the trash or the can's built-in waste compartment.
