It’s fair to say that on! PLUS™ is focusing on quality over quantity at launch.

They offer higher strengths in a more streamlined range with Mint, Wintergreen, and Tobacco Flavor pouches containing either 6mg or 9mg of nicotine compared to on!®’s 2mg, 4mg, and 8mg pouches in wider variety of flavors—including their own take on Mint and Wintergreen plus Citrus, Berry, Coffee, Cinnamon, and an unflavored Original.

The feedback we’re getting from nicotine pouch users around the office so far suggests on! PLUS™ has bolder and longer-lasting flavor than on!® pouches.

It’s worth noting these on! PLUS™ products received marketing authorization through the FDA’s PMTA pathway at the end of last year too, following the earlier authorization of 20 ZYN nicotine pouch products.

The FDA said these were among the first decisions issued under its nicotine pouch pilot program, which was implemented as a way of expediting reviews and addressing a backlog of applications while maintaining the agency’s high scientific standards.
